Once again, parent and student collaboration is needed with this month’s Awareness and celebration campaign. The topic is “Stronger together” and anyone can help by bringing in different types of food to support those in need.
The pandemic has been difficult for everyone, but people with limited resources were the ones that suffered the most, having devastating consequences. In the British Schools, we have always provided assistance to those in our community that need it the most. As next week students are supposed to go to school to collect books, we wanted to take advantage of the situation and ask them to donate various food items that will be later distributed to the different organizations that we help.
In order to cover all needs, you can see below the suggested items that each year group can bring:
1YL: Powdered milk or long-life milk
2YL: Tinned tuna, peas, or corn
3YL: Oil and tomato sauce
4YL: Noodles and rice
5YL: Corn flour and cookies
6YL: Cocoa and sugar
If you are interested in collaborating even more, these items would also be of great help:
Wool
Socks
Disposable face masks
Diapers
Baby wipes
A member of our staff will be located in the Senior Main Entrance to receive all the donations from the students at 12:25-13:25 and 16:00-17:00. You can see below the day each year should be coming to school for the books and donations:

We thank in advance our alumni and parents for their constant support with the donations to help our community.
