Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, many different activities had to change; including the 5th year and 6th year students’ CAS projects. Now, they have to find new ways to achieve the seven learning objectives that are required to receive the IB Diploma from home.
To accomplish this, Matías Danten, a 6th-year student, decided to organize an esports tournament at the school. Esports, short for electronic sports, is the name used to describe competitive video gaming in which players can compete individually against each other or in teams.
Students will be competing for prizes by playing Rocket League, a vehicular soccer video game, and Fortnite, an online video game, to develop their competitive skills and challenge themselves by gaming against better players. The registration form will close on the 29th of April at midnight and the first session of the tournament will take place this weekend, so what are you waiting for? The link is below!
