Here's What Apple Unveiled at Their September Event

Apple announced four new iPhones, new Ipads and a new Apple Watch this Tuesday at the virtual media event hosted in California.

Unveiling four new iPhones may have sparked excitement in the tech industry, however, no groundbreaking or revolutionary features have been incorporated into this year’s iPhones. Instead, the event highlighted a return to Apple's roots, with the company's gadgets getting better cameras, longer-lasting batteries, and quicker processors. Despite this, there were some welcome new features, such as a jaw-dropping storage option for the Pro models and a new Portrait mode for video recording.

iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max

At least among the iPhones, the higher-end iPhone Pro lineup was undoubtedly the highlight of Apple's show. Apple's new, powerful A15 Bionic chip is featured in the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 Pro and 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max, which Apple claims is the "fastest CPU in any smartphone." It will boost machine learning capabilities on the iPhone, including real-time video analysis and the capacity to interpret text in photos. The prices for the Pro and Pro Max are $999 and $1,099, respectively. (An iPhone Pro Max with one terabyte of storage will set you back $1,599.) Graphite, gold, silver, and sierra blue are the available colors. On Friday, September 24, the completely new iPhone range will begin arriving.

iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini

The A15 Bionic processor included in the 6.1-inch iPhone 13 and 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini is the same as in the Pro line. It also includes a diagonally oriented dual-camera system as well as longer-lasting batteries. The iPhone 13 will last 2.5 hours longer on a single charge than the iPhone 12 while the iPhone 13 mini will last 1.5 hours longer. A more efficient display, a new 5G chip, and a utility called Cinematic Mode, which is similar to the famous Portrait mode feature but for videos, are among the other improvements. The iPhone 13 small will start at $699 for 128 GB (more capacity than ever before for a basic model), while the iPhone 13 will start at $799 for 128 GB.

iPad, iPad Mini

Apple launched improvements to its iPad and iPad mini lines, which came as a surprise. The 10.2-inch iPad is powered by a strong A13 processor that performs 20 percent quicker than the previous edition. It's now three times quicker than a Chromebook, according to Apple.
