Friends: The One Where They Get Back Together

After more than a year of waiting, Friends fans will finally get to watch a special episode of the 90s sitcom. Friends: The Reunion was announced in February of 2020 with the intention of filming it during March and releasing it in May, but the coronavirus pandemic prevented the cast from returning to the iconic set.
The hour-long special will be an unscripted event in which the cast will appear as themselves and revisit the original studio, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank, California. Viewers will also get exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from when the show was still in production, providing them with a new perspective to the making-of the adored characters: Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), Monica Geller (Courteney Cox), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), Joey Tribbiani (Matt Leblanc) and Ross Geller (David Schwimmer).
On Thursday 13th of May, the six actors shared a short teaser trailer to their Instagrams announcing the release date of the episode, May 27th, and the streaming service it would be available on, HBO Max. Additionally, the reunion will have several guest stars from the original show including Reese Witherspoon, Christina Pickles, James Micheal Tyler, Tom Selleck, Maggie Wheeler, Thomas Lennon, Larry Hankin, and Elliott Gould.
The episode will also feature appearances from David Beckham, James Corden, Lady Gaga, BTS, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevigne, and Justin Bieber, so don’t miss it!
