Six Crows (book)

This is a fantasy novel that follows a thieving crew in the city of Ketterdam, a bustling hub for international trade where anything can be had for the right price. This crew is attempting to pull off an impossible heist when the leader of the crew, Kaz Brekke, is offered a ridiculous amount of money if he is able to do it.

There is no reason for you not to read this book, the plot is incredible, all the characters are amazing (literally no exceptions), the relationships between the characters, especially the romances are spectacular. Everything about this book is unbelievably good. Another positive aspect is that the characters are morally grey, so you can truly empathize with them because they feel like real people, not superheroes. Besides, the world that the author created is phenomenal, and all the clever plotting and mind games made the book even better.

If this hasn’t caught your attention then nothing will, I promise you will not be able to put it down.

This Savage Song (book)

This savage song is a dark urban fantasy that follows Kate Harker and August Flynn, the heirs to a divided city overrun with violence and actual monsters. Kate wants to be as ruthless as her father, who lets the monsters roam free making the humans pay for protection. All August wants is to be as good-hearted as his own father, to protect the innocent, except he is a monster. He can steal a soul with a simple strain of music. He is assigned to keep an eye on Kate since she has been kicked out of six boarding schools already. However Kate discovers his secret, and after a failed assassination attempt the pair must flee for their lives. They must choose whether to become heroes or villains—and friends or enemies—with the future of their home at stake.

This is a beautifully written book with a very unique world and fantasy system. It also adds that it’s written from two perspectives so it shows the two sides of the situation and how there are two sides to every story. It is a very emotive and interesting story that deals with overcoming prejudice from being born.

This is a comedy made out of a tragic situation that is mixed with a little bit of drama and effectively shows the brainwashing of the Nazis to young german minds but also from any authoritative figure. It will make you laugh out loud and at the same time think, “I really shouldn’t be laughing about this”. It is a story about being forced to grow up and learning to love after being told you shouldn’t. As you watch this movie you are fr¿orced to reflect on how we view and treat others. Go watch it, you won’t regret it!

When this baby grows into a teenager he finds a young orphan thief and during the Sengoku period, they travel across Japan fighting demons who threaten humanity in search of his different body parts.

This is an emotional story about discovering new things about oneself. It questions whether or not it is defined by blood and discusses found family. It is really interesting and you follow these amazing characters as they grow and evolve. You get to see their character development and how his life changes.

Love, Victor

"Love, Victor" is set in the world of "Love, Simon,", a movie about a closeted gay teenager who is forced to come out after being blackmailed. He faces challenges at home, and at his new high school Creekwood High School, as he explores his sexual orientation.
