Gravity (movie)

Dr. Ryan Stone (Sandra Bullock) is a medical engineer on her first shuttle mission. Her commander is veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney), helming his last flight before retirement. Then, during a routine spacewalk by the pair, disaster strikes: The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Ryan and Matt stranded in deep space with no link to Earth and no hope of rescue. As fear turns to panic, they realize that the only way home may be to venture further into space.

Gravity is a very popular movie that is very suspenseful and dramatic. It’s very well made and you will enjoy it at every instance, so we highly recommend you to go watch it now and immerse yourself in the journey of trying to survive in space!

A wrinkle in time (book)

A wrinkle in time is a story about Meg Murry, a high schooler that along with her brother and friend Calvin travels through time and space to a new dangerous planet. On this planet, they are guided by Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Witch to find and rescue their scientist father who is a prisoner on this planet for five years.

Even though this book is targeted at a younger audience, I assure you you do not need to be a kid to enjoy this. Firstly, this book has amazing characters that you can root for and relate to, but It is also a very creative story and no other book is quite like this one.

If you enjoy light sci-fi and fantasy reads then this is the perfect book for you.

Miss Peregrine's Home for peculiar children (book)

This book follows a sixteen-year-old named Jacob who after a horrible family tragedy ends up in miss Peregrine’s home. His grandfather had told him that he had taken refuge in this home after WWII and described the peculiar children he lived with. Jacob stopped believing his grandfather until now. The home was an abandoned orphanage in ruins on a mysterious island. In this orphanage, miss peregrine takes care of not only peculiar but possibly dangerous children.

Its most interesting aspect is that the book is based on a bunch of unusual antique collections of photographs. It is very original and extremely captivating. It is incredibly interesting and entertaining and I assure you it’s nothing like any book you’ve read before and it’ll leave you wanting more.

So if you enjoy fantasy with mysterious elements this is the book for you, it doesn’t matter if you’re a teen or an adult, you will definitely enjoy it.

Brooklyn nine-nine (tv series)

Brooklyn nine-nine is a comedy series that follows Detective Jake Peralta and his co-workers in the New York Police department’s 99th precinct. Jake Peralta is a talented but carefree detective who does whatever he wants. He has a high rate of successful cases despite his immature attitude.

It is a really funny show that will surprise you with the questionable but amusing ways in which they solve the cases. The characters are amazing and very funny in their own ways. It is also a great show to watch while you’re doing something else because it is relaxed and easy to follow.

If you are into shows like “The Office” you’ll for sure like this show.
