Willow - Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift’s 2020 album ‘evermore’ is a perfect fit for cold autumn and winter weather. With soothing acoustic guitars, this alternative-indie and folk-pop album, coffee or tea, a blanket, and fire are all you need to feel cozy and calm this season.

My Eyes - Travis

Alternative and indie track “My Eyes” is a 2007 treasure, with touching lyrics. The composer wrote this song when he realized he would become a father. The song features a piano and percussion in the background. We recommend this song strongly for its sweet tune and the mellow vibes that it gives off.

Bad Day - Daniel Powter

Daniel Powter’s 2005 track never gets old, everyone has had a bad day, and the message of this song is that things will get better. We find it an amazing mood booster, especially on lockdown, when for some, things can get a bit rough and lonely. Even though the lyrics do not mention the weather, it has a feeling to it.

Somewhere Only We Know - Keane

This soft rock masterpiece by the English band ‘Keane’ was crafted in 2004, a peaceful song to chill to, lay back, and rest. It is definitely an autumn song as the lyrics illustrate, “I came across a fallen tree, I felt the branches of it looking at me”. Keane’s lead vocalist Tim Rice-Oxley revealed that the song is “about being able to draw strength from a place or experience you’ve shared with someone.”
